Rain water collecting in the door
After a rain when I open the rear passenger-side door a bunch of water pours out of the bottom of the door.
-Why would water collect inside only this door?
-Why is the water collecting in the door not weeping out when the door is closed? It pours out immediately as soon as the door is opened. I thought these doors had weep holes at the bottom and would always allow water to flow out whether the door is open or closed.

There are three holes in the lower door for drainage.
A small round hole is the front most hole, a grommet filled larger oval hole midway along the door and a smaller oval hole towards the rear of the door.
2005 Rear door weeper locations
If you have water being retained in your door, then the two smaller front and rear holes must have become clogged with some accumulated debris.
Using a non metallic rod such as a plastic straw, plastic zip tie or a thin wooden skewer, you should be able to clear the initial blockage directly over the holes to drain the door, but you may need to remove the inner door panel to clean out the door thoroughly otherwise remaining debris may shift inside the door and block the holes again.

After some tremendous amounts of rain here in the last few days I find zero water build up in the rear passenger door after I removed the rubber bung from the middle location as in Mark's picture in the first reply to this thread. I have no idea why the little weep holes are not letting the water out but apparently they are not. Could be gunk in the bottom of the door I can't see without taking the door panels off. The waist seals may well be a problem letting more water in than should be getting in, I will look into that.
