I need some assistance with A Jaguar X Type 2006 3ltr V6.
The rear door can simply not open neither from inside or out side. I was looking for a release button or something like the luggage compartment usually have but no luck.
Can any one please assist ??

As for getting it open, idk. Couldn't find any info anywhere in it. Plenty of laments that the door had been acting up and then failed (as yours has) & caused additional nightmare of fixing.
So research appears to be, you remove rear seat for easier access. Remove the 2 screws in door card (center and bottom of card). Pop loose (& apparently break most) door card plastic pins. Take door card off and inner foam liner. Accurate the lock by hand and then open door to complete refurbishing fixing the underlying (again usually the rod/plastic clip) problem
Hi Thanx allot but i removed the back seat and the cover for the door i got my hanb as far as the lovking mechanism but thats how far I got I tried pulling the same lever as what the door handles do inside and out but still no luck in opening it I also checked the the double locking option but no luck there either I browsed the workshop manual aswell but al screws and pins is out of reach
