Remove boot plinth

Remove boot plinth
Hello forum,
While adding vibration dampening to the trunk I thought to remove the boot plinth to paint it. I quickly found out removing this sucker was not so easy.
I found some threads on the subject but all pictures were gone so I thought someone here might have some insight to removing the two outside plastic fasteners.
As always, thanks to everyone on this forum for your generous time.
Chris

Chris, if you got to the 2 center ones, getting to the 2 outside ones is the same way. Just have to move your hand around some. Granted (it has been many a year since I did this), I seem to remember that if you remove the whole trim piece that is on the trunk interior, you will find that there are 2 small holes that allow you to stick a socket in and get to those outside pieces. Otherwise, you are shoving your hand around inside the trunk to get a wrench on the fasteners.
