Default Replacing the O2 Sensor.

I want to replace the O2 sensor that goes into the intake manifold on my 04 Jaguar Xtype 3.0 AWD. Is there a special tool that I need for this project? I can see the O2 sensor and get a 7/8 wrench on it but I can't turn the wrench due to the raised intake manifold nut / bolt being in the way.

I spoke with a shop and they quoted me 2 1/2 hrs of labor because they would take the intake manifold apart to access the O2 sensor. It looks like I could remove the right side intake manifold bolt. In doing so I would have enough room the loosen the O2 sensor and remove. Can anyone confirm that I could do this?

Kind regards,

Gary

One of these helps a lot, it sometimes still requires a lot of tugging.
