Serpentine belt snappped
Hi all,
I have had a good look around the forums and am amazed at the amount of information and very helpful people there are.
I'm hoping that someone can guide me in the right direction please.
I have a 2006 2.2ltr Diesel saloon with 98000 miles on the clock. Up until this morning its been amazing.
On my way to work this morning my serpentine belt snapped and exited the engine bay.
I've been asking local autopart dealers for a new belt but when i give them the reg they tell me there are 2 belts and i know its only 1.
It drives the alternator, aircon and power steering. Can someone glean me with the correct part number so i can order it please.

Below is the info you need. There are 2 belts just tell them you want the a/c belt not engine belt. You can follow this link and download for free a copy of the SNG Barratt parts catalog for the x-type. https://www.sngbarratt.com/us/#!/English/Downloads

Search for
eBay item number:
351768447885 You will find the Jaguar part No in the ad. As in the post from avern1 above.
This belt only drives the alternator and air con.
There is a 2nd belt that is driven from the inlet camshaft for the water pump and power steering pump but this is on the other side of the engine.
The alternator belt/air con belt failed on my X type when the air con. pulley seized up. Check that on your car Kev.
