She prowls...and stalls
Well my last post was minor but this one is major...major as in the problem is now worse. Now my cat is stalling on cold starts after going up only to 200-300 rpms and barley builds up rpms after that, the whole car shakes! (yikes) It really hurts to see her struggle like this, before my problem was just rough startups and no check engine light, now i have a check engine light as well. I cant take it in for another 2 days all the garages are closed due to the long weekend and I'am stumped it is drivable after a warm up on the second start up, also she spurs out a stench with white smoke, any suggestions on what could be wrong?

White smoke would indicate a coolant related problem, but we're nowhere without the fault codes producing the check engine light. Anyway you could get the codes read? Code readers (scan tools) are pretty common now, and lots of folks have one in their garage. You can buy one pretty reasonably priced at any parts store, Sears, etc.
If you can get one and read codes it is the best start to getting your X fixed.
Best,

Stevetech, luckly my cousin had one and we got codes p0300 and 1316...Ive searched it up and it comes out as a misfire on google, i also go "cruise not available " on the dash read out, she doesn't even turn over no more, the lights (head, interior, radio) all work so um not going to blame the battery, all i hear is a crap lode of noise coming from the dashboard and gauges, like its reseting itself, other than that the car shows a ABS light for a couple of seconds and a check engine light is on constantly. The engine bay sounds like a electronic-al turn over not a mechanical one tho ( i dont really know how to explain that noise, sounds like some electrical components do their thing but no mechanical), the fuel pump works so thats a plus, So any suggestions or ideas what could be going on with those codes?
