I want to replace my standard shocks on my 2002 X-Type 2.5l Auto with sport shocks. Is this possible or do I need some modification on my suspension. Are the shocks interchangeable or do I have to fit lowering springs etc. Anyone done this before?

Ive kinda been wondering the same thing but was wondering about SPORT to COMFORT. LOL. But as far as fitment issues, with my experience with vehicles, the difference would only be in the shock and strut. They are all the same size. Just the internals are different for rebound and whatnot. Hope this helps

Well i could be wrong but i would think sport shocks would make it more hell on your suspension if the roads are rough. I live in Michigan so i know a little about rough roads. LOL. You need a lifted 4X4 to live here!!! I however did buy sport shocks again as thats what is originally on my car. Either way you decide to go, again, either will work.
