I meant, from what I can see it is just a 1 foot metal rod - so it has got to be how it is connected on each end that is the problem (I wanna say bushings, but I could be wrong - and the end opposite the wheel hub) - I got another Euro car specialty shop I am taking her to on Friday morning.
None the less, I would imagine something like this would NOT be covered under the Jag Select Edition warranty... I better lube up the hind quarters

RE: Shop tells me loose rear suspension...
Problem is finally solved, the *********** replaced the right rear control arm and did the alignment. Cost me $425 (with a 10% discount for their ineptness). They had given me the car back twice stating there was nothing loose in the rear suspension, and that they could do the alignment. So luckily, I was able to transfer the lifetime alignment I paid for, to the Vette, was willing to do so, because i saw that Firestone had a Hunter alignmetn machine. Took in the X, and they told me the rear suspension was loose - friggin idiots. Afterwards the sterring wheel was turned the other way slightly. My wife takes it in and three techs try to convince me oer the phone that there is nothing wrong. Finally, I take it in and show them the uneven sterring wheel. Finally, got the cat back last night - she is drivig straight and the wheel is straight. I am just glad this is finally over. I am not too sure about Patrick Jaguar in Naperville, IL. But I am SOL, there are not that many Jag ***********s in the Chicagoland area. And I still have the SE warranty, so I keep going back to them. I have heard of a few good shops in the area, hopefully, I will have pleasant experiences after the warranty runs out.
