Slow cruise control reaction x400 2004 2.0 d
Hi,
Is it normal for x-type that cruise control starts to react with time delay? When I press "SET" or "CANCEL" car almost immediately lock the speed, but when I press "+" or "-", need to wait 5 seconds to car actually react. On my bussiness Peugeot cars, all commands are immediately. I don't know is it different design or failure. Thanks.

I had a situation with my 2002, 3.0 AT, cruise. I engaged it on the freeway, and the car immediately dropped into limp mode, received Engine fault, Gearbox fault, a couple of other faults. The warning lights lit up. I could on rev the engine to about 2k rpm. Made it off the freeway. Once stop, turned the engine off, waited about a minute, restarted the engine, all faults still displayed. Waited about 10 minutes turn ignition back in, but pressed the cruise off button. Started right up, no faults, no limp home mode.
Got home, activated the cruise control on and off in the garage, showing cruise on and off, no issues. No stored codes. Haven’t activated the cruise while driving though since then.
