Some updates to the Jag
I haven't been able to get on her lately so I thought I'd update on some things I've been doing with the Jag over the last few months.
Tinted the front marker lights, smoked side signal lights, and painted calipers with "Jaguar decal"
[IMG][/IMG]
Installed new console with 2 cup holders. (IDK why Jaguar decided to only have one cup holder in the first place)

[IMG][/IMG]
Installed the bike rack
[IMG][/IMG]
There are lots more plans for this summer but for now this is what I've done.

See, I've been watching Ebay for Jaguar items, but never thought to search for the console. I wasn't even sure they made them. I see they don't have one right now. I'll keep an eye out for it; If anyone comes across one let me know please - black only for US car!

I used window tint. I had some laying around so I gave it a shot. Basically I cleaned off the lens, wrapped it in the tint and used a heat gun to shrink it a little bit. I noticed it formed more so than shrank so I sealed the back of the light and so far no issues. I've washed the car and everything and its held up very well.

Replacing the console was extremely easy.
1. You have to take out the ash try (2 screws)
2. Lift up the plastic around the shifter and take out 2 more screws holding down the front of the console.
3. Inside the console at the bottom there are 3 screws that need to come out. You cant miss these.
4. Once you've done that you remove the carpet pieces on the side of the console and remove 2 more screws on either side.
5. Work the console out by lifting up and working it around the ebrake. (ebrake should be engaged.
The job took me 20 min and I had no manual or instructions. I just started taking things apart. lol.
Just a side note: If you can find a console on ebay or somewhere under 100 bucks I would say its definitely worth the upgrade. Just make sure you get the console from the correct country. Im in the U.S. so I had to get one with the ebrake on the left side. U.K. has them on the right. Ebay is full of UK model consoles. It took a long time to find the U.S. one.
