Default Spring Cleaning

Ive been sitting on this little job for a while. So while stuck inside last weekend I cleaned my rims while off the car and painted/decaled the calipers.

What kind and brand of paint? Did you use a brush?

thnx. its duplicolor brand and can be brushed or sprayed. i sprayed first time i painted them, but used a brush this time. i used vinyl decals and the clear coated them a few times

Nice job and thanks for sharing!!

Just got my A6 back and the alloys all been refurbished and are as new.......this is a job I will be undertaking in the next few weeks as soon as the weather permits

Looks really good....I want to do the rotors, caliper painting/decals as well. Does the dupli color paint last long or is it better to go with the G2 paint. Ive heard its really good or is it all the same? lol

not sure what G2 paint is. duplicolor is great. i actually primed the calipar before i painted it the first time. i used a ton of brake cleaner before i painted though to make sure no oils were on it. decals look what i used.

I forgot to ask what kind of rotors are those? And what kind of clear coat did you use?

Duplicolor hitemp clear coat. Rotors are from a set I got From eBay for $200
