Linkin the pics, and looks like a job well done. Why not post up some pics of them on the car so we can see the finished result?

Looks good man. I found that doing a 1500 grit wet sand between the final paint coat and the first clear coat, then again after the first clear coat before the final clear really gives you a nice smooth finish and you don't have any orange peel. Cleaned with kerosene and then water between coats to eliminate fish-eye.
Waited about a week for the paint to really cure then put on a nice coat of carnuba wax. (This was on an old SAAB btw, not my X).
Good way to spend a day off, eh!

Will post a pic of before and after but don't think I've got a before picture with the standard rims on. I'm only putting these on for winter to save my 18" Team dynamics. They've got a deep dish polished metal lip and the grit and salt on the roads over winter will enjoy eating them. LOL Will see what I can do with the pics. Will be a week or so yet though.
Cheers for the comments.

Thanks for that Chrisx - I think you're soo right with this, patience ( plenty of it ) copius amounts of sanding followed by more sanding along with good quality paint = a great finish
Lookin forward to the pics 17
