Sticky Bit Wannabe?

Sticky Bit Wannabe?
I use to own 2, yes two (2) X-Type 2003 Jaguars.
Unfortunately I had to get rid of my oldest X last weekend as the issues/problems REALLY started to get way too expensive.
Hopefully I can shed some light of the SAME peculiars of this model.
Here's the breakdown:
1st x-type bought in 2003 with 9000 miles.
Issues (non normal wear and tear) in dated order of repair/instance
-Front/Rear demister dents.
-Drivers side window regulator.
-R/R thermostat and clamp.
-R/R front pass. sunvisor.
-R/R rear door aperture (rubber) seal.
-R/R front lower control arms (both).
-R/R IMT values and seals.
-R/R throttle body and seal.
-R/R new subframe bolts.
-R/R coolant bottle and return tube.
-R/R O-ring engine replacement.
-R/R Oil Pan Gasket Change (EXPENSIVE)
-R/R front hood strut.
-R/R IMT O-rings.
-R/R booster vacum.
-R/R upper/lower O-rings.
-R/R rear A bank coil and plugs.
-R/R Entire Brake Booster
All this in less then 90K. Is that normal?
2nd x-type bought in 2003 with 15K miles.
Issues (non normal wear and tear) in dated order of repair/instance
-Reprogram of ECU.
-R/R BOTH Pos and Neg battery cables.
-R/R brake switch.
-R/R Oil Pan Gasket Change (EXPENSIVE)
-Front/Rear demister dents.
-R/R front lower control arms (both).
-R/R Negative Batt cable.
-R/R Front headlights.
-R/R Aspirator motor.
All this in less then 57K. Is that normal?
So the common denominator of both would be:
-R/R Oil Pan Gasket Change (EXPENSIVE)
-Front/Rear demister dents.
-R/R front lower control arms (both).
All the above are very expensive OUT of warranty. Seems now my lower mileage X has the "lovely":
Check Engine Light
AND
Cruise NOT Available.

I'd say you may still be halfway lucky considering that list covered two cars and neither had r/r propshaft, transfer case or transmission. Still that is quite a list. Based on what I have read on here I would say some of those things are known issues (ECM, IMT O-rings, throttle body, oil pan gasket leak, headlights)
As a point of reference, I pruchased my 2003 with 79K and it now needs a new propshaft at 102K, but other than that everything is A-OK and I haven't had to do any other major repairs over a year and a half. I did however notice the oil pan gasket leaking a week after I purchased and after getting a quote from the Jaguar dealer I demanded that the place I bought it from do it free of charge. Saved $1400.
