Tell the truth... Did you get 17s because your Continental tires were still in decent condition? Love everything on the car, but the wheels don't seem to suit it. I would do these on your car:

2005 JAGUAR S TYPE Wheel - OEM Replacement # ALY59770U | WheelsAndCaps.com

with the centers painted body color. It would look incredible.

Edit: By the way, JTIS runs on 32-bit Windows 7. I have it running on the Windows 7 machine I am posting this from and it is installed in my car. Not the best written app (in fact I think my kids could have come up with something better), but file and registry virtualization in Windows 7 fixes up all of the major architectural errors in the JTIS app.

Yea tires were brand new when I bought car and only have 3000 miles on them. It took me while to get use to the rims too. They stick out alittle futher than stock but show a lot more rotor which is what I was going for. I'm not sure if my new laptop runs 32bit win7 ill look today

SHARP!
Normally i wouldn't go with those wheels....but they look HOT!. I prefer the 17" wheel to the 18" (i think)...i need to start comparing some pics to get a better idea.
I''m still unsure how much "mod" i'll do to mine.
What color is the interior?...any mods there?
Care to tell where the cold air intake came from and how much?...i'll be looking for one soon...much difference with it?
