The upper grille looks pretty. was it easy to fit? straight swap or was there some modification/bodging to be done?

the top grill was easy 4 bolt install. i did have to loosen my front bumper bolts and make a little adjustment for closing. the bottom grill was a bit tougher. i had to cut out the black plastic molded piece because my pan cover bolts were too rusted to remove without cutting out and my lower spoiler is attached to not be removed unless wrecked...lol

Can you tell me how much the intake cost with all of the parts? I found your post with the part numbers, are those part numbers from spectre themselves? Thanks!

"8147-piece that is connected to end of air filter(i used CF from dash to cover this)
8708-this is 4in straight piece
8706- chrome collar to connect pieces need 2 of them
8701-mounting kit i used 2 of these the 2nd i used at the first collar near the filter end to keep everything tight and not move
8698-90 degree tube
8771-black rubber piece with spectre printed on it
8741-black flex tube not seen"

^ found out the price for just these pieces is $67.91 + $15.00 for shipping, so if the intake is a reasonable price, I will most certainly do this.

Thanks once again, looking at possibly doing this to mine if the price is reasonable and if you think it is worth it.

Looks GREAT, really nice job! I love the color too. One suggestion is the wheels. IMHO, Valencias would look great on your car!

Overall though, looks excellent!

Thanks Granger, I saw the thread by the other person and I saw what he posted. Just wondering, would a K&N Air Filter work as well? After you connect the mass air piece to where the original intake is at, and then do your 90 bend then you add the filter, what do you do after that? just leave it hanging or what? Sorry for bugging you, I'm just really considering this :P

And Valencias are not factory jag rims, WHEELS & RIMS TSW TSW - VALENCIA - TSW TSW-VALENCIA

QuintonChester and gragner66, my apologies for being vague. I meant Jaguar Valencias. They came on the S-Type. 18x8. I love the way they look, and your car reminds me of mine, and I want the Valencias for mine too!

Anyway, here's a link I found: 2006 JAGUAR S TYPE Wheel - OEM Replacement # ALY59799U | WheelsAndCaps.com

IMO, they look very sporty but I like how they are OEM, it gives the car a factory-sporty look, if that makes sense!
