Default Synthetic Oil &$@$

I finally changed the oil in my car with Castrol synthetic 10w 30. My car has 15000 miles on it and did not leak one drop before the oil change!! Now after my oil change I get a drop here and there!!! I am just starting to hate synthetic oil!!!!

Sorry had to rant a bit!!! Off to clean thedriveway now!!!

Where is it leaking from?

If it's from the oil filter or bolt, maybe they're just not tight enough. If it's leaking through the edges of the oil pan, well that's a different story. It probably says more about your oil pan gasket than the oil you used though.

I can't imagine that syn oil will make your car leak. You sure you didn't spill any as you were pouring it and did you tighten your filter. Any why us 10-30, the book calls for 5w-30.

Besides, why us syn oil? change your oil every 7K miles and fill with regular 5w-30 oil.

Anyway, check to see where it's coming from.
