Bought 2nd hand last year 05 plated 2.0D estate, and everything is as should be. Now the rear tailgate wiper has stopped working, checked fuses and relays, they seem OK. Considering buying 2nd hand replacement unit, but before I do I have this question "There does not seem to be any resistance in the unit, when the wiper arm is moved from outside, and the wiper is not set to the 'ON' position, there is free movement, is this correct?" It could be a gearing problem, but there is no sound from the unit, or are they just free moving? Cheers to anyone who can help
