Default tcm location for 2008 UK xtype

Please I need some help with the location of the transmission control module for a 2008 saloon right hand side X Type.

I have been getting the gearbox fault error for about 2 years now and it seems to have gotten worse this year. I removed the glove box and cover of the bonnet release but can't seem to find the tcm. I think all the videos I may have seen are for the US spec or the earlier version of the X Type.

Thank you very much for your help.

Page 28/29 of the Electrical Guide (2002-2004) shows the location of ALL the modules.

I would guess that the 2008MY would be in the same location?

Thanks everyone. I will open look at the specified location again weather permitting and post a picture if I still can't find it.

I really appreciate your help.

No mention of which model we're looking at here! By 2008, the 2.5 and 3.0 engined saloons were no longer produced in UK, so the odds are this is a 2.2 Diesel Auto that has a totally different autobox by Aisin Warner. Relevant info is hard to find but it seems that the TCM is integral to the gearbox.

Some help here

Sorry for the confusion and yes you are correct, it is a 2.2D. That may explain why I can't find it. Thanks for the linked thread. Does this version also suffer from water getting into the TCM or am I looking for something else entirely?
