Telephone Bluetooth ?
I just brought my new car home and have all the manuals but cannot find how to use the audio panel to enter the code that the books says I need to start the pairing? My car has a touch panel, but does not have the jag phone installed, but the book says I can pair my phone (i have an iphone) I can't even get to the place to get started. How do I get the on screen panel to allow me to enter a code?
Thanks
Thanks

Hey, jaggirltoo!
First, congrats!
Now, I wonder if your car has the Bluetooth module. I think the easiest way to tell is if you have a small mic on the headliner just to the left of the moonroof control. It will be a separate piece that is attached to the headliner. If you don't have a mic there, you may not have the Bluetooth capability.
Take a look and let us know.

Thanks for all your replies, after much frustration, I drove to the Jag Dealer and asked them if it has bluetooth capability and they got in the car and said NO. I was really upset, I stood right there and asked the salesguy if it had bluetooth capability and he said yes...so now they are going to see about putting a parrot in the car. I had a parrot in my 03 S type and it worked well so hopefully will do the same in this car. Thanks it is a new experience with this x type jag. Hope I like it

I have a 2002 X-Type 3.0; back then Bluetooth didn't exist but I do have the built-in microphones in the center overhead where the lights and moon roof controls are located. I replaced the stock audio system with an Alpine INA-W900, to which I added Bluetooth, XM radio, and Navagation modules. The Bluetooth module was at or around $200 and intergrated nicely with the existing microphones. I was surprised that the microphones were there as I did not have a phone connection in the center console.

The microphones are from the built in hands free cell feature. It's also why the stock radio has a dial pad on it. To me it's the first to go simply becasue it dates our cars.
