Hello I'm having a but of trouble with my engine temp..my 02 x-type 2.5's temp won't go down on the highway.. It stays just under normal and the fan turns on and stays on til I turn the car off. It stands right on line I think only because the fan is running but with my previous cars it's always dropped when on the highway but with the jag it doesn't.. Is that normal?

 

Mine is always just below center line of the temp. gauge when the engine is running at operating temperature. It never wavers or dips at any speed or outdoor temperature.
