Yeah if I had any color but black i would have steered towards the black mesh almost instantly, but wasn't sure if it would really be all that noticable on a black car.
Almost positive I'll be going with the black insert now[sm=drooldude.gif].
Thanks guys!!!

For sure jagman I'd be going with the black for sure! Give it the whole undercover cop look! I love chrome in certain parts! Like the rims with an all black car it makes the wheels look standout! Than once you get past the fact that it has some bad **** rims you notice how everything else is painted and looks!

RE: Those with mesh insert grills
well, i finally installed my mesh insert. What a PITA. It took me about 2 hrs. I used a hack saw and my dremel to file down the plastic but it took awhile to get it just right. The insert didnt fit the best when i bolted it all back together but you cant really tell. All in all if you really want to save money then get the insert but make sure you have time and the tools. Otherwise just use a wrench and bolt the pre fabbed one in and save yourself 2 hrs of aggravation.

you are in luck. being that the grille housing is attached to the hood/bonnet you can easily access both sides of the mesh to adjust them as necessary. on my last install i had to do that very thing. i used a hammer and a long handled screwdriver. placed the handle of the screwdriver in the general area i wanted the mesh to move, parallel to it, and hit it with the hammer. even being sandwiched in the middle the mesh still has a fair amount of 'give' to it so you can work it to end any way you want.
