Default Thumping feeling under car

I can feel a vibrating thump from the pedals and it transfers over to the passenger side. I checked the links and bushings because I recently changed them. They still look good and tight.

Possible strut mount failure? How can I properly check the bushings and links. I pull them with my hand but no movement.

Most likely it is the drive shaft carrier bearing.Check it for excess side to side and up/down movement.

The carrier bearing and driveshaft are brand new. It's only over bumps. I should have stated that. Any slight bump would set off this thump by the pedal. By the passenger side front seat it is more distinguished on the floor. So I believe the problem is on that side.

Long story short. I paid a mechanic to do nothing apparently. My sway bar bushing on the passenger side is destroyed. Absolutely ripped. And it was supposed to be brand new. Now I have a dilemma with the mechanic. I will end up having to do this myself. Thank you guys.

Yes, they were supposed to be OEM. The ones that I am changing myself this time are in Jaguar bags that I ordered from my local dealer. The mechanic was supposed to replace with OEM. Most likely they were cheap ones. I don't want to say he didn't do the work, maybe he did. It just didn't last a week if he DID.

They normally last years so your suspicions look correct.

Alright, I gave it my first go and unfortunately it didn't go in my favor. I cannot for the life of me figure how to loosen these bolts. I cannot justify if these were ever removed previously. I removed the 21mm & 10mm bolts that hold the rear sub-frame and it came down less than 2 inches. I can however reach the fasteners which I believe are 13mm bolts, but they are not loosening. Any advice from someone who has done this before?

Should I remove all the subframe bolts to lower the subframe further? Will this cause an issue later?

Do I remove the end links connection to the sway bar to allow the sub-frame to drop more?
