I meant to say, I bought the rust remover ( Hammerite ) product today along with wire brush heads for the electric drill and some Hammerite smooth black
If I get the chance before next Thursday I'm gonna spen a day or two and remove all the wheels and deal with the rust then apply the rust remover. If possible paint the control arms and linkages etc with the black Hammerite.
Just really hope I get time otherwise I'm gonna be so embarrassed.....lol

As you all know, got the grooved / drilled rotors ( discs ) and will be buying the EBC Greenstuff pads soon so I can get the job on the brakes done. Time for renewal of the brake fluid too I think
I'm intending to paint the hubs and the internals of the rotors as per 310's post before fitting and then cleaning and painting the calipers in situ along with the linkages etc etc.
Once done and the weather breaks, I can then take pics and get a decent post up to shut everyone up Aquill...lol
I don't have the time right now, the weathers awful and it'd kill me to put up pics with the calipers etc in the state that they are as they do take away from the overall look no doubt about it.

Lol.....poor my ***! You guys have got some stunnin cars over there.

You're not missin that much mate. The Mondeo is a nice average family sized car (of course you guys'll think its small - I'll say it before you do...lol )
It was and still is the original REPmobile that most of the big companies either bought or leased for their salesmen on the road. Why? Because they have a good level of equipment for the price and their reliability which I can testify too.

Anyway.....gotta go mate, I can hear those rotors calling me for their 2nd coat of paint.
BTW - Just ordered EBC Redstuff pads from Brakes4u.co.uk for the same price as EBC direct
DP31322C Redstuff front
DP31731CRedstuff rear
Both of these are as discussed funnily enough the same as for the X type. Cost £114.00 delivered and should be here for Tuesday

How can you say were missing nothing? You have a car that has nearly as much power as our cars (although I bet in dry conditions you could beat us/perhaps) and yet still get well over 30 mpg beating the snot out of it! You play nice you get 50mpg or near it you say and yet the only way to get 50mpg is a yaris over here! Among other sweet things...like your cars don't have limiters correct?

Lol, I spose we have our upsides too
But, we need to have cars that run on diesel fuel to try n get 40 or 50mpg because we dont have fuel that costs almost nuthin[&:]
Jeeeesh, costs about 10 times what you guys pay!!!
Limiters.......whats that
