I have not driven a lot on the Kumho's yet. The store sales guy scoffed at me wanting these. He said "If you want to go with an entry level tire...". So far they are great! I recently drove between Dallas and Austin on I 35. I went from good roads to bad and in and out of rain. I experienced dry pavement, light rain and heavy downpour. The tires handled great on all conditions and were quiet even at at 90 (well, if I had driven that fast :-)) I replaced the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 with the Kumho's and for the price the Kumho's are an excellent choice! I think they handle as well and are more quiet.

A friend of mine who has a 250BHP Seat Leon Turbo needed new tyres for his car.The guy at our local tyre distribution centre (who supplies all the local garages with their tyres)said to tryKumho's as they had them on offer.
He got them and says they are fantastic,grippy,quiet and cheap.

I have Bridgestone 960AS Pole Position and they are freaking amazing. They are classified as Ultra High Performance All Seasons. Getting rid of stock conti tires made the biggest diffrence on my car. Car has no tire squeal on hard turns now and can take turns faster. I swear my car also felt 200lbs lighter after switching the tires since it handled so much better. They are decent in snow too. Not as good as stock contis, car tends to slide a little, but I get perfect controlled drifts out of it. It's amazing.

Hey guys I've been looking at those kumho's as the price is right but every guy at the tires shops say they suck and this that and the other thing. I don't really understand it but whatever. I'd like a set of the general exclaim's too but we shall see. I've got to find rims and tires in the next week so I can get my car back sooner or later!
It's funny how a few people love the kumho's and sooo many people bash them when rating in other places...I'm confused now! LOL!

I found out what so many uninformed tire cridicts are basing their opinions on..A while back, Kumho had a real bargin tire and they were crap..but these NEW ECSTA-ASX are the best..Not many people know about them yet, they've only been out about a year now...
It's like saying all Firestone tires will cause your car to roll oover in turns..just because of the badbatch that Ford put on the Explorer
