screw the millions of dollars, i would do the job for minimum wage.
like jim said you get to drive hundreds of cars that people only dream of, play jokes on your buds, and get TV groupies!!! I would do it for free. i could test drive aaston martin, and then do a groupie right after a drive around the track. now thats the life.
Man housegroove.........you're sooo on my wavelength........lol
Although a nice screw ( financially speaking) would be good too

There are a few jobs that I'd do for free, and top gear I'd pay to do! It's an awesome experience to just drive one the exotics and they drive them all! It's an opportunity to put your face out on the market to chase marketing dollars$$$ that have nothing to do with the wages you'd get from the show! But even if none off the perks of the show came with it, I'd still do it for free!

Truly the job of a lifetime if you're a car freak, speed freak and or petrol head in general.
Count me in.

Guarantee those guys borrow some of the cars for more than just the tv show! They probably get some overnight, the weekend and longer! It'd be awesome, not to mention extremely easy! My favorite episode is where they get the cars stuck in the parking structure in France! Hilarious but man those cars get me shaking! Anybody else know what I'm talking about?

I love how they go down to earth too and drive some of the cars that are in my reach. I was going to get an SRT4 and they steered me away from it!

Gotta link to them driving a srt4? What didn't they like about it? I love that car I was looking at them because of the price considering you can get them new. I don't like chrysler though, they have horrible reliability-worse than the jags! That goes with the mercedes benz as well!

That's exactly what they were saying. That Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep is horrible with credibility, and in their chart of fastest times, it trailed behind the MR2(NON TURBO), the WRX(not the STI), and even the Porsche Boxster, which is the cheap **** from Porsche! And Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, and Chrysler all suck!

Really I thought the srt had pretty good times??? Like a 0-60 in a little over 5 seconds???? To me thats pretty good for the small amount of money you paid for them even new! I looked into the mr2 for some times and this was the first one I brought up...http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/ro...smt/index.html

Not arguing with you just wondering why they'd say a mr2 is faster????

Not that it's faster, but that it's better! I like for a car to not only be fast on the straight away, but on the corners too! The MR2 was quicker around the track! I'll try and find the video clip of it!

Were different in that respect because I'd rather have a straight line car but one that could handle some curves. I don't have anything out this way to have a reason to do curves fast, just straight line and quiet all the gay tuners up here in Michigan! Plus the initial price and even the used price for a srt4 vs. the mr2 is totally different! Guess I just don't like the mr2 but I'm not really a fan of chrysler quality either!!!

I just saw a special on edinburgh for there underground tunnels or past cities for the poor on a tv show! Stayed up til like 1-2a.m. just to watch! I've been telling my wife for the last couple of days thats where I want to go! So crazy how those things work! Now I gotta go to get some more pics of that bridge! You live near there or just travel that way?

My fav episode of top gear was also the one wear they got the supercars stuck in the garage, They fricken shut down the street in Paris I also likes the Aston Martin racing the train and the Audi RS4 racing the montain climber.
I am with Aquill on having the straight line car. I live in Chicago Illinois and there are no curvey roads around, just straight slabs of pavment for mile. Its sucks for petrol heads that love great handling cars, cause if the car can grip a corner like a teenage virgin to his dangle, it would be no use here. but our city is awesome to cruise at 25mph

Well, my 240sx isn't the fastest of the bunch but it handles awesome! I love the handling because here in Miami my friends and I get together to go drifting in big parking lots and handling is a must. FWD cars can't drift or handle well around corners so the SRT-4 became a straight line toy that I wouldn't enjoy!

You sure about that one bigdreams, Saw some guys driving down there in Florida with their srt4 and they were doing all kinds of stupid stuff! They grabbed 2 trays from mcd's and threw em under the rear tire and were doing all kinds of stuff! They even took it off road like mud sand and stuff it was hilarious, but they did bit the snot out of the poor car! Front wheel probably doesn't work well but the srt would be a nice everyday car that you would be proud of kind of like you are with your jag and drift the 240sx!!! Personally rather have the jag though and get a 2005 or 2007 honda 1000rr repsol for the straight and the curvy!

I'm sure you can have fun in an SRT-4 if you use that e-brake a lot, but there is nothing like going sidewayz at 30 mph and having control of an "out of control car". As for the straights, GSX-R 1000 and I'm good to go!

If I was going gixxer I'd be on a 750, just as fast, one pipe instead of an ugly one, alot cheaper and alot prettier! I can't get enough of the repsol race replica bike...those orange rims and the pearl paint on the plastics get me every time! I had a 96 900rr but had to sell it last fall! That thing screamed! Watched the only video I have of it 3 times over last night! Gets my adrenaline going especially when I turn the onkyo surround sound and the sub up!!!
