Mornin all
Ive used my elm327 with my android with no problems fir months.
I have changed to iphone 5 now and cannot connect.
In the instructions it says to connect thru wifi, though in android i connected thru
Bluetooth
The adapter is not showing up in either blutooth or wifi menu.... Any ideas?

iownme, it is my understanding that Torque was an ANdroid only application. So, yes, it will not work with your iPhone 5. So, unless they have put out a new version that will work with the iPhone, you will need to keep your old phone around just as a communicator with your Elm unit. Please not that there are a few different variations of the ELM units. Some are hard wired, some are Wi-Fi enabled, others are Bluetooth. So, depending on which version you have, you have to connect with it different ways. From the sounds of things, you have a Bluetooth version which means you need to connect via Bluetooth. As for why it won't connect, not sure on that. The phone should still see the Bluetooth device, just won't be able to connect to it.
