Tranny Exchange fluid or Power Flush, That is the question.
Ok since I am leary of doing things like that myself, especially as a first time Jaguar owner, and not wanting to screw it up... I was trying to decide whether or not to just have fluid changed or to have it power flushed. 2004 X-Type v6 3.0 57,000 miles... doing it for good measure since I am not the original owner. I've read mixed reviews on many threads about not power flushing and some about power / hydaulic flushing... like AAmco does and such. I want to try and make a somewhat intelligent decision so i am trying gather all the info I can. Any help and Opinions are greatly appreciated. Trying to get all the preventative stuff done so I have less to worry about and save some bucks in the long run.
Also anyone on Long Island, NY that has a good place... or is a place like AAMCO ok? Specifically the shop in Hicksville (closest to me). Or JapgPro or banner transmissions. (a bit specific I know but this is just extra info in case someone does have experience with these places.
