Tranny Slip??
My wife has a 2005 X-type. I bought it new, so we're the only owners. It has approx 60K on it now, but it's always had this problem. Sometimes it feels like the transmission slips when making a turn or otherwise coming off the throttle, then re-engaging the throttle. It basically revs up then dumps the power back to the powertrain causing a very noticeable surge and thump in the tranny. It's been doing this since new. Every time I take it back to the dealer for service, I mention this, but since it's very intermittent, they haven't found anything. I guess it won't be properly diagnosed until the car goes back on a flatbed one day.
Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance.
