Transfer Box/Case
#2
I put one in my 2005 about two weeks ago. There is a shop in Florida called "Cobra Transmission" he has all the seals you will need for a very reasonable price. He also has a gear kit that he claims you can use to rebuild a transfer case (minus the inner seal that you can't buy ANYWHERE). As long as you are careful and don't rip yours, you could salvage it. Also, there is a repair manual that will walk you through it step by step. Pay close attention to the part about the c-clip on the axle. If you rip that inner seal you are up the creek without a paddle. It isn't easy, but it sure beats paying Jaguar to do it. It took me 6 days working on it (about 2-3 hours a day after getting off work.)

Here is the link. He is in Kentucky, not Florida. The gear kit is $200 which, trust me, is a LOT cheaper than buying a new or used transfer case. Might be worth a shot...

Sorry for blowing up your thread but I found the link to that manual if you didn't feel like downloading it.
