transmission fault displayed on gauge cluster
my 2002 xtype is displaying Transmission Fault on the dash.it is also making a terrible sound coming from the trans. heres a video to help, ill have a better one tomorrow. it sounds like the tranny is dry or low on fluid. ive read that you can check/add fluid thru a "filler neck" under the battery tray. if this is true how do i do it? thanks

67 views and no thoughts wow you guys need to stop playing around with your HiD's and actually learn about your cars. i would do this with the x type but its not my car. you go look at an rx7 forum or a jeep forum and compare it to this crap site. you should be ashamed to call this a car forum. you guys are no better than a bunch of 16 ricer kids, the only thing that seperates you is you have a more expensive car

Is the fault light on constantly, or does it go out once the car is heated?

as to my post even the admins on this forum have addressed this very issue that i was angry about( see off topic section at the top of the x type section) so maybe i took my rant a bit to far but it was justified
