transmission fluid "migration"
Just took a look at the TC last night to check the drive shaft and to see if any trans. fluid has gotten into the TC box. Everything checked out but I did notice that the transmission fluid has leaked out and was splashed over on the exhaust pipe near where the rear cat down pipe is. There are drops here and there on the TC--just wondering where the fluid might be coming from? The right side cv axle is new and dry at the TC--all I can think of is where the TC mates to the transmission I think there was a seal? I didn't renew any seals when I put the new TC in in January....

If you've changed/added to your TC fluid and it's overfilled it will leak out the vent on the top of the TC. It will look like a TC outer seal failure but it's not. I've done the Astromorg drilled drain on my TC and about 250 ml drained after I had used the "drain" or "1/2 drain" as I call it now. The TC should only take 350 ml if you use the "drain" (and don't tip the car).
