Here's a really useful copy of various pdf files for various issues etc for the X type...........I am going to make it a FAQ but some may want to add to their own reference guide.

Hi guys.
Those filesare hosted on my site, I put them up because I've been doing a bit of work with the X-Type electrics for myself and a couple of jaguarforum.co.uk members. I also have the electrical guides for the S-Type on there (I'm sure you can figure out the correct url for those).
I'm not sure of the legality of hosting some of them publically, so whilst you are welcome to share I'll have to say... look but make sure you don't remember anything you see.![Wink](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
There is more that can go up, but for now I've only put up what other people have requested. I'll probably re-organise the directories and put a listing page up at some point in the future so if you need to link to any file directly make sure you mention that it might move. PM me if you need anything specific, and if it is an electrical question then I may be able to help with pointers or advice.

Hey XDave and welcome to this forum .........I have seen you many times on the co.uk forum and know you'll be an invaluable member here too.
Hopefully we'll see more of you
I'm sure you dont mind me borrowing your files for use on this site as they'll no doubt prove priceless.

Cool .....thanks for that Biggie n Caddie......appreciated!
Biggie, anything that looks good for the FAQ section, lets get it in there. Also, if we try and rename itso that the members can find it easy it would help.
Thanks for your help bud

Actually jimbo, I think that if Patrick were to put a link at the top next to the Forums FAQ that would lead to the rest of the FAQ's, then it would be very easy for the rest of the members. Also, if we could extend the FAQ's for other models. Out of all of the FAQ's, the only one that isn't for the X-type is one for the XJ40. Just my 2 cents!

What about starting a post instead of faqs what about common problems or quirks of these cars! I don't really have any faq with particular information just know some things that occur! I was also curious about the bulletins...can you have those problems fixed if you are already out of your factory warranty? Or perhaps see what bulletins were already fixed on my car?

Will do. I'll try and compile as much as I can find, and then ask them to add on! Envy did promise some good stuff though. Where's he at?
