Default Welp, she’s had some work done

Decided to do some spring “maintenance”, of course that’s always a loaded word. Like going to Home Depot, you always come out with more than you went in to get.

Thought I’d share for thoughts, questions and feedback. It’s been years since I posted a pic of the feline anyway.

This all started by deciding to rebuild and paint 4 calipers…. Over last weekend and this weekend the DYI list consisted of:

• Lower front ball joints (that was fun…)
• Tie rod ends
• Front Springs (H&R)
• Rear Springs (H&R)
• Cabin Filter
• Fuel Filter
• Rebuilt & painted front calipers
• New, and then painted, rear calipers
• Brembo front and rear pads
• Both rear back windows (originally not part of the list!)
• Tinted both the small back windows

Had not planned to be replacing the back windows, but for the first time in YEARS some dikhole(s) broke into my car by breaking out the rear side window. The salvage yard had an X, but the windows were tinted. So I bought both windows and now mine are tinted. Cant complain. The original plan was just to replace the springs. I replaced the shocks and struts two years ago with sport shock (OEM was Comfort) and it rode nice but I had these H&Rs and wanted it lower. Now it is! Everyone that says the rear drops lower than the front with the H&R, it’s true and it does. I actually put in a 1” coil lift in the rear so it would have a little rake to it. I think it looks good with the 18” TSW’s and turned out nice and clean looking. Still classy with a little youth.

First pic is before (about 8mos ago), then the after. Followed by two more.

Thank you sir! I have no idea why the paint isn’t more worn. I’ve had it since 2011 and I keep it washed regularly, but only waxed it and done a clay bar once, 2yrs ago. One thing that’s subtitle but makes it look very different to the eye is I have clear markers on the bumpers and turn signals.
