Default What is this?

Hey guys; today I took out my battery to possible add more ATF fluid to my trans because i noticed it was leaking. The thing that is leaking is something that is to the right of the fill plug, I have no idea what it is, all I know is that there is a bunch of fluid seeping out of there. I attatched a picture of it highlighted, in hopes of you guys helping me out.

Isn't that where you put in the turn signal fluid?

It is the vent for the transmission. If it is venting fluid then there is a good chance your tranny was already overfilled and the excess fluid is being forced out of the vent.

Gold_04_X-Type-Thanks so much, what a relief! It really was starting to freak me out.
