Note: I have no material influence with site managers here. I wonder if building a new logo (or complete upper chrome) and submitting is the easiest. Guessing it needs to be devoid of Jaguar look and feel to avoid litigation - so that is a prereq. I know this from other forums with trademarked names in their URLs and I work for one of the most brand aware companies on the planet (a little software co in Redmond).

Oddly enough, the sister site to this one, Land Rover Forums, also is sporting a new font/logo design as of today as well. The old one was green with a crisp font.
Makes me wonder if there wasn't something else at hand here: http://landroverforums.com/forum/index.php

Betrayal! Outrage! Apoplexy!
And all this time I have been patronizing this forum ONLY because I believed the graphics on the header were the just the Cat's Meow... I am appalled and disgusted at their casual and thoughtless disposal and their replacement by some modish noob wannabe phont. I am SO through with this site! (Not.)
Dudes and dudettes, Content is king, and I don't give a carp if the font on the header belongs on a 2009 Camaro.

So I come home and log in on my wife's machine. It had the old logo loading. I thought our rants may have been successful... then I deleted temporary Internet files and the ugly blue one appeared again. I'm guessing this is why chknhwk didn't notice - sorry I implied you were blinded by function over form - you were actually blinded by cached image files.
