what exhaust should i get?;)

About 150USD via Finnish mail service (could be slightly less depending on accurate weight), which is a bit much considering that Adamesh would ship the to Canada for a total of ~470USD, of which ~80USD is shipping. I'd have to go pretty low to something like 250USD+shipping be competitive

I've ordered the Mina exhaust now, because Chris from Mina and several forum-goers say that it's not much louder than stock on lower rpms. I'll obviously make a video of it as well, should take about 2 weeks. Since I'll be using the same camera, it should be pretty good for comparing. Do note however that the first youtube video was shot with a 85mm lens and the second (with revving) with a 50mm lens, so the revving clip was slightly closer.
...I'll also probably have a great-condition Adamesh system for sale at that point, coincidentally.
I'm not OP
Price difference, not counting shipping, is practically non-existent. The Adamesh is certainly the more sporty-looking of the two (big, round, thick edges, and that inner ring in there) but still looks very high-class.

I'm really looking forward to the new videos and your personal opinion. If the difference is not that big as we think so far, - I'd like to get a number (I guess I'm second in line) for your Adamesh

Awesome! I like the Adamesh as well, but I just want to enhance the beauty of the exhaust noise and not to make it a crazy one

But yeah, I'll make a new video and keep you people posted when the time comes, though indeed it seems I'll have to wait until the beginning of September.

Sure, I think I'll come up with some numbers after I see the Adamesh boxes uninstalled and cleaned properly. Not that I'm an expert but a few hundred kilometres shouldn't really do anything I guess.

Take your time! It worth waiting. Keep us posted! Cheers!

I certainly will. Interestingly, I've seen a 0.5l/100km drop in fuel consumption after installing the new air intake and having the Adamesh exhaust installed. I drive as much as before, same daily route, and I don't think my driving habits have changed at all.

I did think about that, but I always really shift before 3000rpm. The Adamesh exhaust makes a loud rumble in the lower rpms, but it's not as noticeable when over 3000rpm. I guess part of the improved economy is the intake (the old filter may have been dirtier than I thought), but it went down by about 0.3l/100km after the filter and a further 0.2l/100km after the exhaust swap. Of course, a less-restricting exhaust gives more power and thus you might use less fuel per the same power you'd normally use?

I also had the same question, not sure what to buy besides the mufflers and tips. I wanted to install some magnaflow mufflers but what else would I need to install them? what kind of pipes to connect the mufflers to existing piping, what other parts like clamps? Also are the tips just placed on or do they have to be welded or something? Thanks for the info

Thanks spooky those where my second choice but Im thinking of installing some universal magnaflow mufflers, I really like how they sound from the clips ive seen on you tube. But im not sure what kind of parts I need to install them since they are universal....if I cant figure it out Ill definitely go with the Mina kit

Alright folks, got the Mina system was installed two days ago. Had to use the Mina oval tips rather than the custom-made ones, as there were issues with fitting them. I'll look into it at some point.
The difference in sound is massive. They are far more silent than the Adamesh exhaust, as in, I can barely (if not at all) hear the exhaust note inside the cabin. I admittedly somewhat miss the very deep "BURP" it made when I revved from idle to about 1200...
I'll eventually make a video, like the earlier ones, of the Mina setup. I also recorded (camera on dashboard so you will see the revs & speed) my typical 19min drive to work with the Adamesh exhaust, and will do the same with the Mina exhaust with the same camera.
For a teaser, I put my business N9 on the rear bumper of the car, camera facing up, and recorded some idle and revs (didn't rev as high with the Adamesh since it was night then). The location was the same at both times. The rattle-sound when revving is from the vibration of the phone on the bumper, but it should give you some idea of the difference in loudness. For best effect, listen to the Mina clip first, and without changing the volume, listen to the Adamesh clip it's very muscular.

I'll try to clean the Adamesh system ASAP and take a few pics, then start going through in chronological order the list of people who indicated interested in them.
