It is very easy to use on a Mac --- you can either boot windows on your Mac or use an emulator like WineBottler/Wine or CrossOver -- Wine is free, CrossOver has a free introductory period.
This is what I suggest -- if you don't use Windows on your Mac (which I don't), Google WineBottler and install it. Then download the JTIS "CD" from one of the links you can find in this forum. Don't follow the instructions that all the Windows users have posted, that's just not necessary on a Mac. You do need to make sure you download the proper stuff and then "run" the proper installation programs (these are Windows programs, one of them will unzip the files, etc. If you use the Mac app to unzip/unarchive you'll not be able to install the JTIS properly).
So, find WineBottler and install it then download and install JTIS -- you might need to ask a few Q's here or start a new thread, whatever suits your fancy.
Glad to have another Mac user on the site!
