Default What a nice car

Just would like to say this, the jaguar x type when working is a amazing car. Ive been testing out alot of cars latly and so far i only like the x type or the g8 gt. Our cars have very good handling and grip, sure they lack in power but driving the g8 in winter....is a nightmare even with the v6 variant.

Please jaguar bring a awd car back but build it with less problems.

Feel free to chime in everyone

I read a news article that Tata Motors (current onwer of Jaguar) will be introducing a new entry level model in the near future. Let's hope they do it right.

What about test driving a newer X-Type that has the 3.0 liter......and maybe one with a manual? Seems like a lot of the early reliability problems of the early cars were worked out. Speaking only for myself, my car has been extremely reliable in the 40K+ miles I have put on it so far. If you find a 3.0 liter with a manual I'm sure your perception of lacking some power might change. Certainly not a muscle car, but it can certainly get out of it's own way. Think about it.............

Only cars I know of anymore that are "assembled in America" are the Hyundai Sonota, Nissan Altima, Toy Camary and Honda Accord. Ford cars are Products of Mexico, GM isn't too far behind, Chrysler stopped making cars, they only make retro crap.

how soon are you getting a new car? Cadillac is making the ATS which is going to be about the the size of the x type and it will have a awd option.(also a rwd V trim...badass!!!)
Buick laCross is nice too and also has awd, infact a lot of higher end gms are awd optioned.
i would stay away from the impala, ive driven the new malibu and it is much nicer, tighter steering and more full interior, just keep in mind the base model malibu and the loaded one have different interior qualities, and it shows...plastics seem to be completly different materials.(my dad has had a 2010 base model and just got a 2011 loaded with leather...they are demos)

Drive over the border and get a late model X. Wouldn't that technically be an "American vehicle" then?

Interesting articles:

http://rumors.automobilemag.com/futu...ment-3800.html and

http://www.topspeed.com/cars/jaguar-x-type/ke1217.html

Unfortunantly, it looks like the new X-Type will be RWD and 4 cylinder. The emphasis seems to be on fuel economy :-(

While BMWs and Mercedes are great cars, there is something special about a Jaguar, not shared by these other cars. I don't know how else to say it except to say that the Jag just has Class.
