Default Whats up members!!! New owner here

Just wanted to say hi and glad to meet everyone.
Just got an 02 X Type 3.0
All stock for now. I plan on adding 20's and doing the H&R springs down the road.
Its got a tick over 60K on it now. Does it have the typical 60K maintenance of japanese imports?
I came from a 1993.5 Toyota Supra Turbo, and was accustomed to doing the timing belt, diff fluid, tranny fluid, etc....

thanks for any info

Congrats on your new toy....
1st, it's far from a rice burner...no timing belts...dual chains...should last the life of the car...(if you're not beating on it) as for the other 2 belts (serpentine and water pump), I would replace every 60K....so check to see if yours look new....oil change should be normal...I change mine every 3-4k...jag recommends 10K...diff is sealed and as is the tranny...no maintenance...but, I???m sure if you're a DIY'er you can probably change it if you think it needs it...

2nd, as for your 20's and H&R coil overs...it won't work...:-) ask me how I know....coil overs drop the car approx 1.5 inches....my 18's just barely make it......20's no way.....sure you can make them fit but you'll need a hammer and some body work....so good luck...

I'll post some pics soon...i'm in the middle of a stereo upgrade so once that gets done pics will follow.

If you decide to do your plugs, be prepared. You'll have to remove the intake manifold.....get a gasket set... if you really really want to replace your plugs, get the bosch platium 4. Cost a bit more, but work the best....
