I drew shapes using the pen tool and then used filter effects (Film Grain, Guassian Blur, Paint Daubs, etc.) to texture them to resemble the way that they would look in real life. Shapes were drawn using Adobe Illustrator. You simply go about it the same way that an artist would draw in real life by drawing shapes and shading them using gradients.

Best part of photoshop is it gives you a real life look at whatever you are wanting to do to whatever you are thinking about in your head...meaning you get an idea what you car is going to look like without getting it painted first...I had many sketches of what my crotch rocket would look like using photoshop to show different ideas...plus they are real life views not just artist rendering or just drawing/painting by hand...although foose does a really good idea of what it would look after whatever mods he does to cars...
