This is the place I bought a replacement lug nut from, it was identical in appearance to the factory ones!
$11.95 USD, plus a few bucks for shipping.

I've been using these from NAPA. They're for a Lincoln LS but fit the X type perfectly and are a very close cosmetic match...

Balkamp BK 6414244
$2.51 each!

The ones pictured in the first site look just about right for my car.
I'm looking for a lug nut for my XK8 after stripping one during mere removal. This car quite possibly has the worst factory lug nuts I've ever experienced on any car aside from an '87 dodge I had, but that was to be expected.
The factory XK8 lug nut used with the revolver style wheel is absolute junk. A cheap steel lug nut with a tin cover made to look like a quality lug nut. Over time, they're the worst to remove, especially with the poor excuse for a lug wrench included with the car.
I'm happy to have to deal with this in the driveway, but be warned in advance - as these cars age, the problem of sticky lug nuts most likely gets worse. Can't say if this happens on other models but this was the case with mine.
