happy holidays (not easy owning a jag..lol)
so... after some fiddling around under passenger side of dash my gas tank is refusing to fill.
i read this is a vapor solonoid issue and im wondering if i accidently dislodged the connector for that sensor

of course the weather is 4 deg C at its warmest.
i have a parts car to swap one with but this cold prevents that right now
so to sum up... is there a connector for that sensor up behind the glovebox?

iownme, when I cleaned mine, I seem to remember unplugging it right near the brake booster, inside the engine bay. Granted, there may be another plug somewhere further back in the car, but I am not sure where those would be. Granted, normally the plugs inside the passenger compartment are handling multiple circuits, so, you should be seeing multiple things going bad all at the some time if it was a plug that was undone.
You may want try cleaning the vent valve which is on the firewall, next to the brake booster if my memory serves me correct. A little bit of a pain to get to, but once you get it out, you can spray some carb cleaner into the solenoid. After I did that, all my minor/major gas tank leak codes went away.

Thermo...
im not getting a leak code, when i try to fill the gas tank, the gas pump keeps shutting off. i can get about 20cents of gas in at a time ive read changing angle of pump nozzle can help but ive tried every position and still it would take an hour to fill up.there is a solonoid valve behind the gas tank which if i take out the round flap from inside the case this will supposedly cure the problem.then when its warmer ill take the one off the parts car and replace.sound familiar?
