Default Where to get a Bolt?

So I replaced the lumbar support in my driver seat and noticed that one of the backrest retaining bolts are stripped. No big deal I thought just call up the dealer and get a new bolt. So I called Scott Jaguar and they told me they dont carry bolts

I've looked in JEPC and can't seem to find the bolt listed anywhere.

So does anyone know know what the part number is for these bolts? There's 4 of them (T-50) that hold the backrest to the seat.

A Salvage yard would be where I'd start looking

Checked the local scraps and no one has any x-types. So looks like I'll just goto the local hardware store and try to match it up.

Yaguarete, if you can, pull out a good bolt and take it to Fastenal. They should be able to get you the bolt that you are after, even with the T-50 top to it. But, worst case you can probably get a standard metric bolt and put it in there instead and it might be a bit cheaper. Just not sure if the skin of the seat not be damaged by a standard bolt, hence why they have the T-50 bolt there.

Yea I was able to match it up at a local hardware store. It is a standard metric but luckily where they are located its on the metal frame so I didn't have to worry about messing up my leather.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I'm just shocked the dealer doesn't carry bolts.

The Torx heads are used for assembly speed. Usually no harm swapping them for Allen or even socket head screws as long as they are the same hardness (grade).

Fastenal was a good suggestion. They've found some pretty weird fasteners for me... at a price, to be sure.
