Hello all. New to the forums. Just traded in the Caddy and got the wife a X Type. We've only had it for a few weeks, but we both love it so far. Being a used car, it needs a few things and after visiting the dealer yesterday, I was amazed at the cost of parts (and labor).

Looking for somewhere to purchase parts for the car, and I'm having a heck of a time finding what I need.

Anybody know of a website or anywhere else that would have a large amount of X Type parts??

Heres what I'm looking for:
R/F Lower engine cover/liner (mounts inside the fender)
Splash guard (with hardware)
The dealer wants..............hold your breath for this.............$1400.07 for these two plastic parts!

Looking for a few other things as well.

scott, if you are wanting to deal with the dealership, then I would look at either Hennessey Jaguar (from Atlanta, GA) as they will give us a break in the price or you can try "Jaguar Parts" - Jaguar parts and accessories catalog (dealership based out of Cleveland, OH). I would also look on e-bay for a wrecking yard parting out an X-Type and ask them a question about how much they would want for those parts. Then you can negotiate a price from there. Considering not many people are looking for either of those parts, I would offer them something you are willing to pay as a counter offer and see what happens. After that, you can try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and see what they can do for you.
