Whining is typically associated with X Types, particularly from behind the steering wheel.

there is a stickie on how to do this mod under FAQ's. Very useful IMO

could be transfer case.. whining or a bearing.

carrier bearing for the propshaft...trust me. Hvae to buy the whole assemble unless your good at ordering and installing bearings.

Yeah I have this problem also... I actually made a post about it before. I still have this problem as Jag has horrible service hours and would want to hold the car for a couple of days. Anyone knwo how long I can keep driving like this or what will be the effect if I dont get it fixed any time soon? So far i have driven 10K KM on it.

Transfer case is likely going out.....dont buy it.
