Default Whoaaaaaaa it got kind of hot

Driving Saturday and heard an odd noise from the Jag when I would get on the gas...kind of like a slight rattle...odd though.
Noticed the temp gauge and it was close to real hot. We pulled over and I noticed coolant reservoir was empty. One of the nipples on the reservoir had broke and coolant was just leaking from the line that connects there. I put some coolant back and rigged up the hose on the remaining part of the nipple to get home. It made it home fine with no rise in temps at all.
Lost a little bit of coolant but nothing like it was before.
When I pulled the Jag into the garage there was just an odd hum from the tranny with the brakes applied slowly pulling in.
Got the part on order and just hopeing all is ok.

The reservoir wont be an issue, but I might have to change out the transmission and transfer case fluid with some new fluid. Just not sure what fluid yet though.
Too many ifs ands or buts about which fluid to use.

If she has oil change service she probably has SE. I'd seriously just go have the oil changed at the dealer if I were you. The jag only needs oil ever 10k miles though.

Bedford is in-between Dallas and Ft Worth.

Cool mang
My aunt lives in Frisco, younger sister in Grand Prairie right now, and friends here and there.
Might take a trip down there pretty soon.

Jag seems all good to be honest. The temp only got almost to the next last mark before the red and "H".
Tranny shifts and no odd noise.
Take about 5min to change the coolant reservoir.
