Why do my gauges on a dashboard vibrate
I have a question. This only started happening this morning. When i start the car, all the gauges on a dashboard kind of vibrate for a second or two and then stop. Never had this happen before on any vehicle i owned so i am not sure what the issue is. Can anyone relate? This is on my 2005 X Type 3.0

The gauges on your car are actually stepper motors. The movement is calibrated each time the battery is re-connected and the the movement parameters are stored in computer memory. This process takes 1-2 seconds and causes the needle to vibrate against the stop.
If this just happened randomly, it is probably because the battery voltage went unusually low this morning when you started the car (was it very cold out?) and caused the instrument cluster to reset, or the instrument cluster detected an internal fault of some sort and reset itself.
It might be worth having the battery checked...it could be an early sign of battery failure.
