Why is the X-Type Forum the Best Forum?

Just to revive an old but very entertaining post, I have to go with "c". Ok actually I would love an XJ8 but the real reason I bought my firxt x 5 years ago was because all of my friends had BMW... 3XX... bla bla bla. My car is sick, I get more compliments on my car and more turning heads than any of my buddies in their entry level 3XX.... And when I was a single man in my mid twenties, The girls would just DIE when I picked them up on a date. (I made my living in a pick-up truck and most people would be used to seeing me in a work truck) It was pure pleasure to rip my Jag around on a Friday night.
Now as a man getting married in 8 weeks and my fiance starting a killer new sales and recruiting position in the big city Washington DC, the Jag was the most economical choice for a luxary car to take clients out in. Also, beings that my 2003 literally saved my live in a very violent, high-speed accident, I feel completely safe with her behind the wheel!

^^^ Dennis I like the indash navi.. Was the plate around it custom made or can it be purchased? What type of radio is it?
And I like this site because we all help each other out.. There is good information to be had in most of the threads.
If we could only come up with regional meets so us X-Type guys could hang and BS in person.

TOny, welcome to the forums. As you have probably seen, we are here to help each other. But ,we do ask a small favor of you before you get going to far into this. Please go over to the New Member Forums and introduce yourself to the entire group. It is well worth your time. Other than that, grab a cup of Joe, sit back, and enjoy. Pass on what you have learned about your Jag, pose questions about issues you are having, and in general enjoy yourself. I'm sure we will be talking with each other a lot.
What part of MD are you in? I'm more than likely south of you as I am down in the southern tip near California, MD. So, if you ever need some help with you car, keep me in mind. I'm always willing to help turn some wrenches.
