Default RE: will this rim fit?

I claim 0 on my taxes and I'm pretty sure she claims the same...jointly we probably made less than 50k I'm not sure I havn't even looked at the tax papers...her parents took them to her parents tax guy and he did them....all I got was a call from her parents saying we were only getting back a grand. I was livid I can tell you that! Especially when it made no sense to me that combined it puts us into a different tax bracket even though we are now living for 2 people...couldn't claim the baby he would have had to have been born December 31st or earlier...would have loved to have claimed him! Last year she made like 600 ( I think without me on her own and she didn't go to school so she didn't get any break for that year and I got about a thousand on my own??????

Well, if she made so little, and you made over 40K then you get much less back than if you make 39K. I pays to make less, in a sense!

Yeah I know but its bs...especially considering instead of me making 30-31k for one person we made say 40-45 for two and I get less back???? Makes no f-ing sense whatsoever to me? You have to pay for two people to live and now you get less back when per person you made less than me by myself? I think the tax man screwed up that my wife's parents took our taxes to!

That is a posibility, because 1G sounds like a bit too little! On your W2, do you claim yourself as married, or single. I claim myself as single so that I get more back on my return! I would suggest going to a diff tax man next year!

Oh it wasn't my idea! I will for sure! I'd like to do my own but thats why I have em done with someone whom does it for a living so I get the most back! If I would have known this I would have claimed 1 all year long!
