Windshield washer sensor

Windshield washer sensor
How hard is it to replace the sensor for the washer reservoir on a 2004 X-TYPE 3.0L V6? The warning light and text warning have been on since I bought it 2 years ago, and I want to fix it. I also have intermittent warning lights (check engine light and ABS light) sometimes they are both on, sometimes niether and some times one or the other. I haven't been able to get the check engine light to come on when I'm at the parts store, but I have had the ABS diagnosed as a bad wheel speed sensor on the front passenger wheel. I have searched youtube, but can't find a video for the front wheel on an X-TYPE. Can someone help? Thanks

Both of your problems are relatively easy to repair.I have attached parts blow ups fron SNG Barratt a forum sponsor showing the parts. You are going to need to remove the passenger front wheel.
First examine the suspension arm and you will find a cable tie wrapped to the arm. The cable goes to the hub and at the end is the speed sensor.
Next if you remove the plastic wheel arch liner you will see the windscreen washer bottle at the front of the wheel well. The level sensor plugs into the tank and can be removed and replaced. Just unplug and plug in new one.
